Air pollution has been doing more than contribute to Climate-Change, effecting both weather, the food we eat with the cumulative effect of increasing disease burden and mortality.
Climate-change is now increasingly linked as a contributing factor to many social challenges, like civil unrest. While poverty and hunger will remain as critical goals for solving the worlds challenges, probably for much of the 21st century, climate change will certainly be one of the constant issues for the entire century and beyond.
Deforestation over all continues to rise net of reforestation and desertification diminishes the Soil Organic Content present in the land itself.
Understanding this challenge and what to do about air pollution and the resulting climate challenges effecting society is certainly the challenge of the century.
